It *is* pretty swag. However, I’ve only seen the episodes in which he was struggling with overheats at Pikes Peak, not whether his fixes ever managed to deal with that. Past the relief holes in the hood, did he every come up with anything?

I can't remember. I know he made it to the top at one point. He's the only reason I even watch the show.

I don’t think they said in the show but he mentioned that the hood vents and different fans solved his issue at higher altitude. He had an oil problem his second time up. Some sort of oil leak and a spinout. I don’t remember specifics.
But down here closer to sea level that thing runs like a demon. This was shot all around downtown Dallas area.
Also keep a lookout on their website for a 65-66 GT350-esque mustang. I saw it the other day coming across the Trinity river bridge on their trailer. Pretty distinctive Dodge dually with the trailer and hotrod on the back. Dunno if it’s gonna be a show build or not though.

Mine(Ranchero) is a ‘63, but since my original ‘63 headlight surrounds were mangled beyond good use, the bumper was trashed, and the grill was missing, I have a ‘60 grill, a ‘72 Mustang front bumper, and modified ‘62 headlight surrounds - which is not to say a ‘63 looks bad at all. Just requires a slightly less slab front bumper with better lights - so basically what Aaron has.

he’s the reason the show is able to exist. When Gas Monkey jumps the shark (for those who like it) they’d be smart to give this guy a show. It’s only interesting when he’s doing what he does.
